Meet Our Staff

Pastor:  Leon Hawks

 

A native of Ellerbe, North Carolina, the Rev. Leon Hawks is a graduate of Ellerbe High School, Fruitland Bible Institute and Campbell University.  He attended Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina and has served as senior pastor of Southern Baptist congregations since 1965. His love for missions and desire to tell the "Good News" has compelled "Pastor Hawks" to begin Crosspointe Baptist Church.

 

Minister to Students:  Marcus Starnes

 

Marcus Starnes along with his wife, Allison, and their two sons, Drake and Carter, came to Crosspointe Baptist Church in April 2007.  Marcus is a graduate of Concord High School and Wingate University.  He is currently working for a master's from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Marcus has enjoyed ministering to students since 1997.  If you would like to contact him, his email address is marcus@starnes.net.
